water harvest

Because of the drought, crops fail and livestock die. Kenya’s population is suffering from hunger and thirst. An estimated 2.7 million people are afflicted by acute water shortages. People must walk for miles to reach water sources. Yet they are usually dried up or contaminated.
The majority of people in Kenya are now completely dependent on water from water tanks, which are installed in central locations.

water tanks for Kenya's drought areas

We provide people with fresh drinking water

Since the beginning of the year, we have installed three such tanks in Kiwanza and Tumbuni together with our project partner, Canadian charity ‘Graceland Africa Mission’. Children and their parents are flocking to the tanks, which are each filled with 10,000 litres of fresh water by our tankers. These tanks are already ensuring the survival of thousands of people.
The vehicles are also bringing their life-saving freight directly to villages, where the grateful inhabitants are able to fill their jerrycans on site.
Our goal is to complete three additional water tank projects in Ukasi, Musovo and Kathungu, installing more water tanks and sending tankers to the villages.
